01Overview
Sun Industries, LLC (“Sun Industries”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This website is an informational site. It has no user accounts, no forms, no comment features, and no advertising. The information we handle is limited to what is described below.
02Information we collect
Information you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message, including any attachments.
Information collected automatically. This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use analytics or tracking tools. Like most websites, it is served by a hosting provider whose servers may keep standard request logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time of each request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running.
Fonts loaded from a third party. This site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers, and Google receives the information your browser sends with any request, including your IP address. Google’s handling of that information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
03How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to your inquiries and correspond with you;
- evaluate and carry out potential or existing business engagements;
- operate, secure, and maintain this website;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
04How we share information
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. Companies that provide services to us, such as website hosting and email, process information on our behalf and under our instructions.
- Legal requirements. When we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sun Industries, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. If Sun Industries is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of its business, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
05Retention
We keep correspondence and related information for as long as needed to respond to you, to carry out any resulting engagement, and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Hosting logs are retained according to our hosting provider’s standard practices.
06Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to christopherdavidson@sunindustriesllc.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data protection law, which we will honor as required.
You can prevent the Google Fonts request described above by disabling remote font loading in your browser; the site will then display in your system’s default typeface.
07Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as passwords, credentials, or financial account numbers by email.
08Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
09International visitors
Sun Industries is based in the United States, and information we receive is processed and stored there. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date at the top. Continued use of the website after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
